SCSI2SD V5.0A on Centris 660AV

I am trying to get an SCSI2SD working on a Centris 660AV.  When I load the Apple HD SC Setup utility it is not recognized.  Is there somthing special I have to do to get this workings?

This is my first SCSI2SD and I think I have followed the instructions correctly.  I have firmware 4.6 on it, but I do not one thing, when I do a save to device I get the following in the debug log:

7:30:59 AM: Programming flash array 1 row 250

07:30:59 AM: Programming flash array 1 row 251

07:30:59 AM: Save Complete.

07:31:04 AM: SCSI2SD Ready, firmware version 4.6

07:31:04 AM: SD Capacity (512-byte sectors): 996352

SD CSD Register: BADCRC 007fb0325f5983ccf6db5fff964000cb

SD CID Register: 1b534d303030303010b15406a700a1df

07:31:04 AM: SCSI Self-Test: Passed

This is with a 512MB SD card in it.

The Apple HD SC setup utility won't work because by default the SCSI2SD is not an Apple branded drive.  You can used a patched version of the Apple utility or use Lido.  You can also use the scsi2sd-util to set the parameters to appear as an Apple branded drive so the normal HD SC Setup utility will work.  dougg3 details the process here.

Well that worked...  Thanks, now to recap this centris, and now that I know how to use the SCSI2SD I think I am going to get on for my SE/30

I love the scsi2sd. Multiple drives is a very nice feature. I can install multiple systems and use the Startup Disk control panel to switch between them. I'm starting the great capacitor changeout of 2016 soon myself on all my systems.
