386DX (32 bit memory) and above need 4 of the exact same SIMMs, you cannot install them in uneven pairs. 3 and 9 chip SIMMs work best (parity) unlike macs which don't care. The card has 10MB currently
the inception idea is a good one but the isa extender needs to be created precisely to fit.The ISA slots are a nice inclusion but fitting anything in there is quite the design flaw! I'd look out for a ISA riser card from a 386, 486 slimline case (with 90 degree slots) that allows you to fit a card in upside down, so to speak. Other option would be a really low profile network or sound card.
Sorry, I’m just jumping into this thread, how much ram does this orange PC Card have?I was able to get my hands on a Quantum 1.2gb SCSI drive (hopefully it works - I have one in my external Apple drive and my other IIfx).
The plan is to dedicate 300MB for System 7.1, and 900MB for the OrangePC side (currently have a 250MB Quantum in the IIfx and I’m maxing out on storage lol).
My question is - will my particular 25mhz 486 OrangePC card be able to handle Windows 95? I have the upgrade version on floppies. I don’t really want to deal with DOS 6/Win 3.1 again, but if I must I must.
Currently 10MB. Plan to upgrade to 16MB, which I think is the max for this cardSorry, I’m just jumping into this thread, how much ram does this orange PC Card have?
I'd do the upgrade then install Win 95. With 10MB, it will probably be a painful experience.Currently 10MB. Plan to upgrade to 16MB, which I think is the max for this card
bluescsi and zuluscsi are functionally identical. the blue isn't gonna be any friendlier.nice i wanna get a orange368going on a iici. waiting for a bluescsi cause zulu is unfriendly in terms of data transfer

That sucks. Guess I’ll have to connect the 9GB drive to my 6100, and use AppleTalk to transfer the data over from the 1.2GB drive. You’d have to repartition it into several smaller volumes.
