Macintosh Portable Feet Remake

Would be nice if someone out there could reproduce with a 3D printer some of these feet for the portable... These tend to crumble... I suspect it wouldn't be a hard job for a 3D printer... I don't have one...

I bet the regular plastic would work out just fine... You don't really have to bend them that much... so I am sure you could squeeze them in... :)

All we have to do is give it a shot... :) And see what happens... :)

I seriously was asking this in my head today the same exact thing.  What was used for the Iici / Quadra feets was plenty flexible enough.

hey 360!

I've seen the pics on your other 3D-printing thread. Damn those feet look good!

You just need to find the correct material/color now!

I'll have to order a batch from you once the prototyping phase is complete ! I destroyed two feet on my Portable trying to get it open...

Hi guys,

I have the expensive flexible rubber filament if anyone is interested. I could do about $20 too, but I would need to design them or be sent the file from 360alaska if they are willing too (Not trying to compete, but I have the better filament for feet!)

I will if somebody wants them or something, as I have no need for them.

What were the originals made of? Im guessing rubber.

I definitely need a handful of portable feets, the price is sorta up there though. But I bet thats because of the filament.
