So my PB has issues. I don't care- THE MODEM CONNECTOR IS MISSING! WHERE HAS IT GONE?!

Well, the modem *was* an optional extra, and there is a blanking plate installed in those machines which lack the option. Maybe it was that blanking plate which fell out??

If that's not it, I'm at a loss.... :?:

Well, I do not know the history of the machine. All we have to say is that it VANISHED. (one way or another.)

You lost a modem port but seems to have gained an HDMI to left of the SCSI port
