IIcx leaked caps - salvageable?

A few weeks ago I obtained a Macintosh IIcx. While it boots (as indicated by the HDD activity light), there is no sound or video. Removing the motherboard revealed numerous leaking capacitors. I don't know much about this kind of stuff, I'm not sure whether any of the traces are damaged. Perhaps someone can look at these pics and determine if this board is salvageable or not. There is nothing there that looks too bad to me, Gil. Most of that is nasty dust stuck to the electrolyte. I con't see any dark-colored traces that would indicate they are rotten.

I would give it a clean with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) first and see what it looks like after that.

Also I'm wondering if the videocard and your monitor are compatible. If they aren't it could explain the lack of video. Happened to me once.

Does it boot off a floppy? I find it easier to tell if it actually boots when you use a floppy rather than the harddrive.

all that leaky electrolyte, I think caps are your issue. i'd say its ready for a scrub in the bath tub, compressor dry, De-cap Re-cap, should be all set.
