Can the 512ke American analog board be modified to run on Australian 240v@50Hz mains?

I had my mum bring over my old 512ke (my second computer) and I'm wondering what I'll need to get it to function. Can it be modified or will I need a beefy voltage step-down converter? I'm also hoping the different frequency won't be an issue, as that would be far more expensive than a simple step-down.

As far as I know that is not possible. There are two different analog boards, an US board (120V)  and an international board (120/240V). The international version has a completely different power supply.

For further information you can read Larry Pina: Macintosh Repair and Upgrade Secrets (downloadable somewhere in the internet...)

Not possible, the only solution is to find another AB (International) and do the swap.

Any 128/512 or Plus unit will work.
