30 Old Mac Books

No, that's not not 30 old MacBooks — 30 old Mac books.

Though finding 30 old MacBooks would, of course, be a most welcome event in life (should anyone "out there" be so minded as to be giving them away), it happens that I collect manuals for software and hardware that I possess, and so I was happy to turn up these lowlier finds today in a little trove.

The treasures include the usual things like Macs for Dummies, which like some of the others will promptly go to the local Goodwill, but there are some more interesting finds: Claris manuals for ClarisWorks3 and 4, a QuickTime 2 manual of about 150pp., a Photoshop 2.5 OEM manual, and some "how to" books for Photoshop 3 and Illustrator 5.5. Although I tend to collect OEM manuals, the how to books are keepers in this instance, as I have (slightly later) manual-less versions some of the old Adobe products but have little idea how to use them to best advantage. I doubt, for instance, that Illustrator 7 is that much different than 5.5.

Though my present Grail in this area of the collection is a Claris Impact 2 manual, these will do for the moment.

Yup, I fell for it. :o) Great title though for getting users to check out your post. :p Very nice collection for those interested as well. ;)

I thought about the title for a second, and realized you meant books.

But I did get two old free MacBook that were broken mind you.
