128k sadmac with lines blocking numbers

Heeeeelp!!!!!! Strange black lines partially blocking sadmac!!!!

When I first got it, there was a sadmac with the error code 048545

I then proceeded to remove the ram chips and installed ic sockets.

I must have messed something else up because after replacing all the ram chips

This is the screen that appeared:

I've checked the continuity between all the ram chips. All my solder joints are good

I then changed the ROM chips with known functioning ones. Still no luck

Anyone have any suggestions????

Might be bad RAM. The video comes from about 22k of the 128k total RAM, so bad video could mean bad RAM.

How about shuffling the RAM chips into different sockets? That would hopefully move the bad one into a memory area that's not part of the screen buffer, so you could read the sad Mac code.

Hmmm that's a good idea!!!

I was also thinking it could be a bad socket or 2

I'll start by moving the chips around first if that doesn't work

I'll start replacing the sockets one by one
