Working Powerbook 3400c for $48

I bought a PB 3400c in "untested, as-is" condition on eBay, brought it home, plugged it into a working power supply and discovered it was completely functional except for the usual need for a new PRAM battery and a battery pack rebuild.  I've ordered the PRAM battery and some fresh 26650 Li-Ion cells for the pack rebuild.  Score!

Oh, and one more thing...

I also scored a NOS Asante Micro EN/SC, unopened in the original box, a couple weeks ago to get my PB 180 online.  Works perfectly.  I've paired it up with an IOGear Ethernet-To-WIFI adapter powered by a battery pack to make my PB 180 into a fully wireless, internet connected, beast.

Tastyrerun,

I have a Macintosh plus and I’m trying to get it online in a very similar fashion. I haven’t had very much luck as I’m not sure how to configure the software. Any input would be a big help!

thanks,

justin
