Wireless problem...

I have a G3 Wallstreet 250Mhz with 96Mb running 9.2.2 but I am having a problem with using a Lucent Silver Turbo Pro card

Installed drivers... set up Air port software ... installed Classic Stumbler 1.7. It finds my router fine and I have even managed it to report as connected but when I open any browser and type in a web address nothing comes up.

So its connected but refuses to send and receive data although I was about 5 feet away from the router.

Anybody any ideas what I am doing wrong?

The only problem I could think of is its not getting an IP address, I have this problem on my PC when I'm in Xubuntu 8.04, connects fine but cannot get an IP address and won't load anything. Load up the TCP/IP Control Panel and Try entering the IP address of the router into the "DHCP Client ID" field, if you do not have a field like this make sure you select "Using DHCP Server" in the "Configure:" drop down menu.

That is a card I would expect to work with just the airport software, updated to the latest version for 9. I have used a wavelan silver with airport in a Lombard, and it just thought it was a real airport card. I found that other driver software just muddied things up and did not help, even making it worse.
