TapGuard utility

Does anyone happen to have a copy of the TapGuard 1 or TapGuard 2 PowerBook utility, which is meant to keep a cursor from jumping around due to accidental contact with a trackpad while typing. It therefore keeps you from adding text to random wrong lines on your screen. It would be a useful addition to my 2400c, which I hope to write my next great work on, and which for some reason is especially sensitive to this problem.

Absolutely all links turned up by Google are broken, and I cannot find the utility on the internet archive. It was a Shareware product that has evidently been discontinued by its author.

There's a barebones site still up with the author's Twitter so you could try contacting him if you need a licence.

Thank you for that. But how did you find it? I looked for hours with no luck, including on the internet archive/ waybackmachine, so a tip on how to look would be useful to have in the old quiver. Or am I just blind/ stupid (perfectly possible)?

Just luck really. I used a combination of Google and archive.org. I think I managed to find the filename first, then an old entry on cnet or download.com that had a dead link back to his site. So then I tried the download link in the wayback machine and luckily it was there.
