Strangest Clock Reset Date Yet

We've all heard of Apple's clock reset dates, which vary from model to model, but here's a new one:

September 26, 1952

This is what I got when I booted my SE (FDHD board from 1989) without a PRAM battery. Does anyone have some insight on this date and more importantly, has anyone else seen it before?

Sometimes my SE SuperDrive (which currently doesn't have a PRAM battery installed- I removed it last year) boots to a date in 1984 (and it's not January 24).

However, this only happens after I install a new program on the HD (which I can no longer do since I'm out of room- same with my SC20 drive), and I restart the computer. Otherwise, it's stuck in 1904.

Btw Scott, what OS are you running on your SE? Maybe that impacts what date the computer shows without a PRAM battery.

I booted with an original 6.0.3 System Tools floppy, which I subsequently installed on the hard drive. This was the computer's first boot without the PRAM battery.
