SE RAM Jumper confusion

I'm planning to upgrade an SE to 4MB but this board has the jumper on a daughter card, apparently with R35 and R36... am I just supposed to just remove the jumper or do I need to remove these resistors also? Thanks.

That... isn't normal. Never seen one like that before.

Seems like it's all factory though, looking at the underside of the board. And it does work fine.

I'd remove the jumper and see if it works

Some of those don't look factory.
yeah, maybe not. If that was some kind of mod, I wonder what in the world it could be for? It had 1mb installed and working fine. 4mb won't be here until this weekend.

Looks like someone updated the machine to the late SE memory jumper. You'll need to remove the jumper to have the computer see all 4MB.
