Q700 monitors extension with System 7.1.1?

Just finished a fresh install of System 7.1.1 on my newly arrived Quadra 700 w/ 1MB VRAM and 20MB RAM. Everything looks OK, but the Options button in the Monitors control panel gives a message as follows:

"Sorry, there is not enough memory available to show the options right now."

For System 7.5, there was a Quadra Monitors extension available. How about System 7.1.1?

Any ideas?

I think that was a System 7 bug? Read the "Read Me" that installed with system.

INSTALLING SYSTEM 7.1 ON A MACINTOSH QUADRA 700 AND 950

To install System 7.1 on a Macintosh Quadra, use the Installer program’s Easy Install option, or choose “System software for any Macintosh” in the Installer’s Customize window. If you use the Macintosh Quadra option in the Customize window, some parts of the Monitors control panel will not work correctly.
