The other day I was out running errands with my family, and as we drove across town, I spotted a familiar shape and color out of the corner of my eye. I quickly circled the block, double-parked, and hopped out to take a look - it was an Indigo iMac G3! My wife snapped a pic from the car, since she thought it was funny that I'm always finding neat stuff on the sidewalk around here but rarely document it in pics

The machine is quite dirty and I haven't powered it up yet, but visually it seems to be in good shape, with no obvious cracks or exterior damage. It was set in a pile of refuse, which also included a sweet beige IBM CRT display (I'd guess it's from the "Aptiva era"), and an external SCSI drive of the style you'd usually see sitting under a Macintosh SE or Classic. I grabbed those items too - fingers crossed that they work!
