Ok so i have an SE/30 and a color classic both running 7.6.1. i've got the same version of Oxyd on both and i figured out that both have to be run in 1bit color modes to link. however, both freeze immediately upon starting an appletalk link game. does anyone have any clue why, or what i might try to do to resolve it? i can't even command-option-escape to kill it; it's a hard freeze. photograph attahced for reference.

I assume you've done all the usual stuff, like making sure AppleTalk is turn on for both machines, and that they can see each other on the network and connect?

yes. also, strangely, i am actually playing a link game right now that is working, instead of starting on the CC i started on the SE/30. fluke? i dont know.

Interesting. Does it reliably work if you start it with the SE/30, and reliably not work if you start it with the Color Classic?
