WOW!!! And you get a nice and beautiful deep mustard yellow Lisa 2!!! What a steal!!! That auction has been on there for so long... It started with just the picture but now there are actual photos of it..

And "Museum" quality to boot!!! LOL!
I think the guy got tired of accusations that he didn't really have a Lisa.  I doubt we'll see any with the back off though, my guess is that there are no cards in the cage or they've all been wrecked by leaky NiCads.  Note that all three of the expansion card slotcovers appear to be missing, so there might be some rare vintage mouse nesting material in there too.

The price is ridiculous as we've all agreed though I think it's safe to say that the seller is equally as shady and to be avoided.

As for rarity, it's not extremely rare. They're just uncommon as most Lisas when they got taken out of use never went back into their box and the mouse was misplaced. We still see it a lot with the IIe/IIc/128/512/plus but there were millions of those machines made so replacements are nowhere near as hard to source. Your market is pretty much Lisa owners who currently do not have the mouse or are using one of the later mice as a stopgap. $150? Sure. $250? It better be in that special Lisa box it used. Nowhere near even $5000. That's money laundering territory.
