Original Apple Lisa Mouse: Is it worth big bucks?

Just saw this on eBay:  http://www.ebay.com/itm/171983561235and someone bid on it.  Is it really that collectible or is someone screwing around?  

Anyone else here have one like this?  They have to be still fairly common. Maybe I should check my serial number

That auction is GROSSLY HIGH!!! I've got about three of them.. They are rare but not that rare.. Occasionally a Lisa auction will come up with one of these mice.. Keep an eye out if you want one.. Some of these ebay people really take advantage... it is sad...

Who and what are these ebay people taking advantage of exactly? If no one buys it, no one buys it. If someone does, it's because it was worth it to them to do so.

Just to be clear, I never once criticized the auction or the price (which is not allowed).  I genuinely wondered if the original Apple Lisa mouse is that rare/collectible because it was bid on by someone.  I guess it could be construed as a gray area.

Just for giggles, the mouse in the auction is serial number 031587.  Mine is 005384.  Aplmak, what serial number are yours?

I will check them asap... One is a little higher than this guys... The others I don't think are as low as yours... So I assume your's might be worth at least double... lol!!!! Since it is SUPER DOOPER RARE... LOL!!!!

Hap I looked up the bidder's info and it does show he has done retractions before... Very fishy.. but hey as someone said it is bringing awareness and hopefully will boost up the value of everyone here that has one...

WOW!!! And you get a nice and beautiful deep mustard yellow Lisa 2!!! What a steal!!! That auction has been on there for so long... It started with just the picture but now there are actual photos of it..

And "Museum" quality to boot!!! LOL!
