Apple Lisa 2 value

I have been contacted by somebody (who knows I have a tiny vintage Apple collection) wanting to sell an Apple Lisa 2 (A6S0200P).
Working condition with keyboard/mouse.

Price is a bit steep, but a quick search on Ebay doesn't even show any for sale!
So very hard for me to decide wether it's a fair asking price or not.

Actually saw some really high prices just on the keyboard (A6MB101) and mouse (A9M0050)!
Really want to own one someday, but no rush, and not looking to pay stupid money :)

So, anybody want to throw a price?

Last time I checked, I thought it was around $2k for a working system in decent shape. Anything below $1k is a very good price. Above $3k (unless I'm wrong) think about if you really want it.

If you want a Lisa, then it is a mistake not to try make a deal if you have this opportunity. My opinion is they are still very under-priced, and not going to get cheaper again - ever.
Here is why:
1. Using serial number tracking it's been recently discovered that the number of Lisa's made was far less then that Apple Marketing machine would have lead you to believe. The current thinking is that a little over 10,000 were made, not the 100,000 of urban legend.
2. Many of the Lisa that exist today or are yet to be found have major battery damage that further reduces that number of systems in good working condition.
3. The Lisa keyboard and interface is unique to the system and many times the keyboard got seperated from the system, making finding complete system harder to find. This is why the keyboards are so expensive.
4. If the seller is local to you, this can be a big savings. Lisa's are very heavy and very expensive to ship (hundreds of dollars).

If you don't want it, let me know as I may. I have recently started doing 68k Mac dev again and I'd love to go back to the time to simulate when a Lisa was required to dev for the Mac. It would make a sweet addition to my vintage desk which has a 512k and a SE atm.

Sorry for the late reply!

The Lisa sold before I could make a decision.
It was listed at 1800€ opening price, and looks like the owner found a seller at the 2000€ point...
