Need help with Radius Rockets

Sticking my 040 card back in causes it to get a BUS error on the double-boot. I noticed that my Radius33 card with the photobooster has LEDs on it. I never noticed them come on before. So I'm going to put everything back in how I had it and see if those LEDs come on. If it's truly a power issue, this'll give me a definitive answer.

Anyone know if a Quadra 700 power supply would help with the power issue? It's supposed to be compatible with the IIci, and it looks like it can provide more power.

According to Service Source:

IIcx/IIci: 90 W (not including monitor power)

Quadra 700: 130 W (not including monitor power) 90 W continuous

Absolutely! :approve:

I'm using a Q700 to power up my IIsi, I had to hack that a tad . . .

. . . but for the IIci it should be a plug-n-play replacement.

If you've got a Q700 available, that'd be a lot better than the IIci under RocketShare!

If you've got a line on just the PSU . . .

. . . do it to it! :approve:

Still keeping an eye out for a power supply. I'll let you guys know if I run across one, then I'll give it another try.

I wonder ... This is purely a wild guess, but could the "freeze" be that it's actually running a memtest on that 128MB of RAM? How long would that take on an equivalent 040 Mac?
