A neighbor was selling a Powerbook G4 (unknown specs beyond that) at a yard sale this morning. I was told that he had gotten it from someone and it wouldn't work because something was 'locked' as he called it. He didn't have a price for it, and I had no idea what to offer for it, so I went back to do some research on it since I didn't want to pay too much for an unsalvagable machine. By the time I got back there, he had sold it to someone else for $100.00!! 8-o
Sure, it had a carrying case and the power adapter, but I wouldn't have offered that much. I had decided that $40, maybe $50 would have been stretching it. Guess I just wasn't meant to have it. Oh well...
