Retro Battle Stations is having its annual BBS Week again.  As always I participated with my trusty Macintosh Plus and connected to their BBS.  Had fun reading everyones posts on their retro computers.  Decided to cross post it here.

Nice. I would have to do it with my IBM PS/2 model 30, as that was the machine that I BBSed on back in the day.

Used Telex with a hayesmodem 2400 baud. Man those were the days. I spent most of my time in the files section leeching though.

I had never heard of this until now. I might have to get my Plus on a BBS as well!

Edit: seems it's almost over, oh well.

They take entries for any retro computers, I just happened to participate with a Mac but lots of people use IBMs and others.

I may do it. But, I need to obtain a replacement CRT for my IBM 8512 monitor, the original has serious burn in. Got the monitor and changed the caps and flyback on it awhile ago. But the CRT itself needs replacing, there is a company that has one but just saving up some cash to get it. its $99 plus shipping for a NOS Hitachi CRT.
