You can only edit for a certain window of time.

edit: That RAM will work, but for $9.95 you can get new 16MB SIMMs from OWC.

If it's 4 - 4MB RAM, that gives you 16MB, more than enough to start/test that machine.

The computer now works and reliably (I think; I only tried it a few times) boots! Thank you, RalfK. Thank you, Elfen. Thank you, Unity. Thank you, Uniserver (for the recap).

Now I just have to figure out how to fix the floppy drive...

YAY!!!!   Well the floppy *can* be the easy part. Lubrication is first step. Cleaning the heads is second. Just be glad its not a 400k drive, those can be a PAIN.

Congrats Tanuki65! The floppy should not be hard as Unity stated. And as long as you have the plastics to have it in its place, you should be fine!

Yup, I hope I didn't fry the floppy controller by mistaken probing.

Did you Lubed it? You should clean it up and lube it.

Unfortunately I cant find the instruction that was on the wiki as the wiki is still down. But you could probably google the information.
