Where do people recommend for cap kits?

For the LB, I can post you some caps—I'll check in a bit, but I think I have the ones you need for the LB in stock.  I tend to buy them in reels because I am bad at stock control, so I have plenty spare you can have.  AB ones I do not have.

I'm probably closer than @MrFahrenheit, so probably easier on everyone to avoid international postage :) .

In terms of getting capacitors, I usually get mine from RS or Farnell (depending on who has what in stock), using the guides from https://recapamac.com.au. Never had stock problems.  There is very rarely cause to buy components internationally, IME.

Note, though, that at least for me, the capacitors Bruce recommends are one physical size too large, just because he's much better at soldering than I am.  I'm happy to share the part numbers for caps I've ordered from UK suppliers if useful.

I'd buy reels if I had the intention of reselling as kits or had multiple Macs to do.

Would appreciate your part numbers, I may have more luck finding those locally. Or for you to send me some caps. Happy to pay including postage via PayPal.

I'll send you a PM @cheesestraws thank you.

Most supply houses have discounts for larger orders. I just ordered, for example, 47µf 16v organic polymer caps in a reel of 50. When you get into the 040/PPC era, they are EVERYWHERE. Just buy a boatload and save.

I think I bought 1000 of them when I last ordered. They really are everywhere.
