Hello!

I've the hands over a Macintosh SE/30  that got inside a " MAC VIDEO ADAPTER" with an exit by 8 DIN Plug. IS anybody here that know more about it and/or can let me know the pinout of this Exit ?

The adapter is a simple PCB that manage and transfer signals from the logic board to this 8 DIN pin, with true it the 14pin power connector. If needed i can post some pictures. There are 7 pins connected with just one out ( the nr. 7).

Old school setup for hooking ti a projector generally. To the best of my knowledge there aren't any monitors that'll sync - more or less just late 80s/early 90s projectors (the suitcase sized ones).

hmm...  but curious is to see what is the video signal exing from it..  is it a composite video or a separated "Chroma/Luma"... just curiosity...

I remember the 80/90 projectors but i didn't remember in that a PLUG IN 8 DIN...  something much more familiar with some old black&White TV...  but again. i'm just looking to understand what signal are coming out from the 8DIN.

Gotta be Black and White for TV input if there's no PDS Card involved. VERY strange, does the board plug into the A/B connector to pass the signals through to the neck board? I'm guessing there's an external box powered by the connector? That would convert the Mac video fed to the connector to convert the  output to NTSC a/o PAL a/o Composite. You'll need to buzz the connections to see what's going on.

Didn't think that was right, the connectors on either side are too wide to plug into any connector of the SE/30. Are they single row ii-pin or a double row? What IC is hiding behind the ferrite ring?
