It just occurred to me that two TashTalks are better than one...

And it actually works! Two separate Localtalk networks (lt0 and lt1) routed by Netatalk on the PC! The utility of all this is dubious, but exciting nevertheless! (Here the PB520 is on zone LocalTalk 2 and talks with the PB100 on zone LocalTalk)

I just bought a NUpowr 117 PPC upgrade for a powerbook 5xx (which I don't yet have) as the fist step to reproduce my fist "real" laptop (a 520c with said upgrade, that disappeared with the friend I lend it to). Somebody please suggest excuses not to feel guilty!

Finally back home, with the new LT2USB boards waiting for me! Can't wait to try them out.

Another PB100 recapped and working again! They just somehow keep showing at my doorstep...

IT WORKS! Netatalk on tashtalk/lt0 using the native Linux AppleTalk stack.

Anybody interested in having TashTalk as a native Linux lt0 interface (as the old ISA cards)?

And so it begins, I got a second PowerBook 100, the soldering iron will have quite some work to do.
