Just some ideas.

Install clear speaker
Install more RAM
New fan / RGB fan
Recap the analog board, looks to still have stock capacitors? I appreciate it works but future-proofing is nice if you want it to be the best it can be
You may want a stronger PSU if you are going to get a Carrera in there, is yours at least re-capped or have you thought about an ATX rebuild?

The Mobo is recapped. I was considering doing the JDW and ActionRetro PSU upgrade. I like the original speak because of it's look in the see thru case. I have the analog board capacitors already, just need to swap them in. I have the full 128mb of RAM... But I currently get the Semisimac pattern (looking for the solution).

I assume you mean an ATX conversion. You may have seen theirs but they weren't the first to do it, by the way. But yes, I recommend that method as you get the benefits of a new PSU.

Just looked up that mod; I am all but certain I'll be doing that at some point. My original SE I recapped, but the SE/30 I just picked up this week I would be elated to have a new modern power supply in.

It's a useful mod. Main thing to be careful of is that you need two separate 12V rails, and you need to make sure that the PSU works properly given that the load applied by an SE/30 is not what a PC PSU necessarily expects.

understood on the voltage load situation, but TY for the info on the 12V rails, that helps a lot.

Didn't use the DayStar clone in this one, ended up using the original Carrera with upgraded oscillator.
