I am on holiday until the end of next week. Then once home I guess it’s finally time to unpack that eprom reader/writer and see how it works…Hey there! I just found one of these in a Color Classic 2 I got from Japan. I noticed you have the 1.1.2 chip there. Mine has the 1.1.1. Is there a way to make a duplicate of that socketed ROM possibly? And also wondering if the Color Classic version might work with an SE/30?
Back home and reading the messages on a wider screen I just figured out that your message @nottomhanks was not for me my ROM is 1.1.1 as shown in the pics I posted years ago... If anyone else ( @mousehouse ?) is able to dump the content of a 1.1.2 ROM , that will be useful for me too, I guess!Hey,

Yeah, I would like to know the different between the two. Does anyone here happen to know that information?Back home and reading the messages on a wider screen I just figured out that your message @nottomhanks was not for me my ROM is 1.1.1 as shown in the pics I posted years ago... Do you think it's possible to plug in the CL 40-40 into Bolle's adapter? Or will that cause major problems? It would be awesome if you could use this with an SE/30 to speed it up!!Mine has a 1.1.2 chip as well. Happy to create a bin from the ROM but need to get my 866 reader installed and figure out how to do this again
Hope you’re not in a rush…
Any chance we can get a copy of the v1.1.2 firmware as I have v1.1.1 ?@micheledipaola -I was gonna say, that looks like a card for one of the LC's! I have a CV 40-40 Interware Booster myself; somewhere I have the cache card for it. But yea, that connector on the back of it is indeed a cache memory connector. View attachment 36446

Ok, I get that! Will need to dig up my TL866 and get it up and running again. You’re not in a rush I hopeIt's not known where the CV40 maps its ROM nor how it's wired, so you'd need to dump the ROM externally.
No rush, I think - I'm not actually the one that needs itOk, I get that! Will need to dig up my TL866 and get it up and running again. You’re not in a rush I hope
Updates... I messed around a bit and read EEPROM ID 0x2005 back from it. Could be an ST 27C1001.
Attached the 128KB ROM dump... let me know if this works!
