Hi all!
I recently bought a really nice Apple IIc kit, which I'm pretty excited about - it's a system I've always admired but never owned. When I bought it a couple weeks ago, the seller gave me a quick demo and everything seemed to be working well. I finally have some time to play with it today, and now I'm finding that there's a strange behavior...
Specifically, the image on the IIc monitor "swims" or slowly wobbles back and forth horizontally, line by line. It's kind of hard to describe in text, so here's a short video clip.
I initially thought the video jack on the IIc itself was loose, because it seems to alter the swimming behavior if I apply gentle pressure to the IIc end of the video cable. However, when I test the IIc and same cable with my "known good" Monitor III, it's sharp and rock solid even when I fiddle with the IIc end of the cable - you can see that in the second video in the album linked above.
Any idea what's going on here?
