IIci power supply works and I want to keep it that way...

So my IIci just came off my bench after I re-capped the board.  Currently installing OS to SCSI2SD 5.1 if for no other reason than I want to keep the physical hard drive unused.

The fan on the power supply is noisy/whiny.  Not horrible but enough to be annoying.  So I wanted to swap out the fan for something more modern and more quiet.

The first thing I'll have to determine is the voltage of the fan but that means taking apart the power supply.

I have been reading stories from other people about the power supplies going bad, blowing up etc.  I want to prevent that from happening or at least dramatically reduce the chance.  What do you suggest? Do a full re-cap of the power supply ?  Is there a parts list?

I switched to a Noctua fan in one of mine.

I started this thread a while back:

I came as far as to pin down the capacitors, however, the caps may vary from PSU to PSU, so I would recommend to open it.
