So I got an unopened daynaport scsi on eBay!! Mint in the box…shrinkwrapped! I probably overpaid for it but whatever.

The pictures are terrific, thanks for including them all!
The smell is amazing!! When I was a kid plastics smelled differently than they do now. This takes me back!!

That is a really, really nice find. I love the art style on Mac-related manuals from that period, the "simultaneously understated and trying a bit too hard" and the colourfulness. And the device itself is a really useful thing to have too.

I love vintage product catalogs. You can find some really cool stuff in there that you never knew existed. :)

And yeah, that's a cool find. Can you scan the product catalog and upload it to archive.org please?
i can, but i don't know exactly how to do the uploading part to where it will matter

ok! it will take me a bit, as i'm at work. i'll try and get it scanned tonight!

i also made a diskcopy image of the floppy that came with it, since there didn't seem to be any on macintosh garden
