Hey everyone, the eMac in my sig has some DVD problems. I installed a nice superdrive, (Not apple branded) from an old DVD player/creator. The DiskDrive does NOT Detect DVDs but does detect CDs, But System profiler, reports it to read CD AND DVDs. It even says it BURNS DVDs as well (Dual layer included).

Any Ideas? Or should I just stick the old combo drive in there?

Thanks! But that didn't quite do it... I installed the stock driver. It does report that it is supported now, but it still won't read DVDs. Let me just go to the eMac After this post and I will put up the system profiler report.
