Cloned SE/30 color PDS card?

I've recently begun coding for the SE/30 and was wondering if any of this machine's color display cards have been cloned.

They seem to be quite hard to come by and a cloned card would be the solution to my problems!

@asicsolutions has been working on an Xceed clone which includes video output for the SE/30 in color as well as internal grayscale.  See this thread:

In the later pages some discussion was given.  I should mention that this is a huge project and will take considerable time to complete.

I would really like to develop a new PDS graphics card for the SE/30. The “Toby’ video card is well documented in the available Apple manuals and seems like a good starting point.

(Best way to get a card seems to be buy a whole SE/30 that has a card in it. That’s how I got my Radius anyway.)

That is quite an ambitious project!

I'll definitely follow it as it progresses.

As far as a display card, I guess I'll just keep an eye on eBay and the Trading Post board then until I see something pop up!

Is there like a schematic out there with equations for any ASICs?  If so, we can make quick work of that.

@fatal3rror yeah, sometimes they come up and cheap, its a patient man's game.

I may bother the pros with questions, but making this happen with a MAX10 FPGA is also partly a personal learning project. I have no clue about where I might get hold of ASIC equations right now :-(
