Bracket for network card

Does anyone know which bracket I need for this outbreak card of a Asante Network card? I’ve got the one in photo 2 but it doesn’t seem to fit. It’s for a SE/30.

That's the correct bracket for the SE/30 chassis. Your ethernet breakout board is missing the other half and a metal sheet that has the screw holes to attach it to the bracket.

Oh I’m sorry. Maybe I wasn’t clear. I have the other half. If you look closely you see the green light working. And I have a second network card just like yours in the picture. But the parts don’t fit. I tried.

I read your reply again. Do you mean the breakout board consists of 2 parts? Is that what you mean with “Your ethernet breakout board is missing the other half”. Because I’m pretty Shure the breakout card is fine as it is.

Bolle was saying you were missing both the detachable AUI piece of the breakout board as well as the metal bracket. To mount, you need this bracket plus the standard SE/30 bracket pictured in your original post.

Okay. Thanks. Can the card operate without the aaui-piece?
And so I must get my hands on that bracket in your picture.

Yes it works fine without it. That breakout board is somewhat desirable for that reason, as you can stack a video card on top of the maccon and put the video output connector in place of the aui.

Thanks. Great. So I’m on the lookout for the bracket in your photo. Can I use your photo for that purpose?

By all means. To be honest with you - it's probably going to be a massive pain to find as that particular breakout board is relatively uncommon. You may be better off trying to fabricate something.
