Hello everyone we've created the ROMs but what if you don't have a TechStep or can't find one? Well hopefully soon we'll have a recreation @max1zzz and I are on a journey to recreate one.

I sent my spare over to Max and in the coming days we hope to start work on recreating this awesome little tool.

Good to hear! The recreation would be a new base computer unit and the cartridges?

I wonder if there's any other tests you can stuff in there like a broken trace test of some sort or bad caps?

Right now we want to at least get it working I’m sure ROMs could be built in but priority right now is to recreate the board and see if we can get everything working.

I'm excitedly waiting for the TechStep form @jajan547 to make it's way to me so I can start working on it :)

What surprised me about the techstep is it is made form entirely off the shelf parts. It has a 6800 series micro the the code will need to be extracted form as well as 3 PAL's but assuming the code from all these can be extracted it should be fairly "simple" to recreate it

Excited to get to work on it!
