Apple Menu icon trouble OS 7.6

Forgive me and feel free to move this if it's not under the right category. I have a little problem with the Apple icon on the Apple menu on my IIci running OS 7.6. It's not the multicolor Apple icon anymore. It's the very small B&W Apple and looks a little awkward. It's been that way since I put her in storage awhile back but I've never bothered with it because the system works great otherwise. It was upgraded from 7.5.5 to 7.6 at some point, but I hate to take all the time to backup and reload the OS. Especially since I don't have a CD-R or network connected to it right now and won't be needing those for what I plan to use the IIci for now. I wonder if any of you have seen this before and have figured out how to get the multicolor Apple back? I've tried rebuilding the desktop and disk utilities say the HD is fine. Again ideas? :?:

Make sure that the Monitors control panel or whatever it is, is set to colours instead of greys/b&W.

Yes, even if the rest of the image is in colour right now. I seem to recall this happening on one of my machines and that was the issue.

Or it's a Minimal System Install. The Minimal system had only the black & white Apple logo menu.

Monitors CP showed monitor set to greys. MacJunky, you were absolutely correct. I hadn't noticed even though I was in the Monitors CP because I saw colors set to millions. Never realized there was a separate setting next to it that could be changed. Thank you!
