You should be able to get to at least 28MHz with just a clock swap. Speak to @mg.man, who is in the process of doing this mod.Did this project ever get anywhere? I've been hunting for one of these. Really wish I could take advantage of the full 68040 I put in my Centris 610 instead of being stuck at 20MHz.
The link I shared shows how to fix that.I would but pushing the clock higher on the Centris board breaks the on board Ethernet which I really want to be able to use under A/UX. If A/UX wasn't so picky about hardware compatibility I would just try using an add on Ethernet adapter.
I post while half asleep way too often. But at least it gives me a plausible excuse for my stupid posts when I'm awake.Oh awesome! I was on the verge of sleep so I completely missed the link! Woops. Man I feel dumb.
Chip grade?I have the Centris Only version of this accelerator. But it looks nearly identical. I wonder what the difference is?
Wow! 27MHz and you haven't even put the clock in the socket yet! Awesome!I've only swapped the oscillator so far... but I'll leave this here :

Only because it was easy/cheap/quik to get a 13.5Mhz oscillator. I've since popped in a 16Mhz one...Was there a reason you decided to go for 27MHz?
