I'm working on a PB 3400c for someone and the display isn't working, nor is it outputing video via the VGA port.
The video connector area had suffered some battery damage and corrosion, which actually led to a GLoD (Green Light of Death) state, but cleaning with vinegar resolved that. The machine now chimes normally, but as stated, has no video, internally or externally.
I've checked the main display connector on the logic board, and all the pins seem to be conducting to their nearby vias. I also cleaned the inside of the connector with vinegar and alcohol just in case, but no improvement.
Has anyone else encountered a similar situation? If so, were you able to fix it?
