BlueSCSI v2 Wi-Fi headachery

Okay, I found the problem. It's really dumb.
I was too far away from my router and apparently the Pico W has poor reception abilities. I moved closer to the router and it works flawlessly every time.
Also. Once the connection drops. It’s over. I don’t think the BlueSCSI tried to reconnect without a restart.

Can someone explain this in layman’s terms?
I am so not techy. The answers to these questions seem to be more about how people can impress each other with their tech knowledge. There are folks who just want it to work. Simple answers only. Thanks. 😊

Laymans terms: the OP was too far away from their router to get a signal.

Solutions to issues like Wifi and network connections are often different, depending upon a lot of circumstances. Wiring, wifi strength, type of router, internet connection type, etc. Not to mention the Mac software side with operating system and TCP software needing to work together and be correct, for the machine it's on.

There is no 'one solution' for a given problem like this.

The answers are not about impressing people. I read through this, it was offering insight into possibilities for the issue. Using these old systems is a learning experience, and comes with a fairly steep learning curve, compared to modern systems and networks.

If you have a problem, ask your own question, don't piggyback on someone else's thread, and ask for what could be causing that problem to be answered in more simple terms. But even simple answers might be above your ability to work through it. There is no simple answer B for question A with many of these old things.

Also, this is a discussion forum, not a tech support channel. People like discussing things here.
