  1. Hello everyone ! I had been looking to connect my SE/30 to the internet but I struggled to find PDS boards that would fit in it, and all SCSI to Ethernet boxes that I found were missing floppies with drivers. Moreover most of this stuff was in the US so shipping would be really expensive. Then I found about scuznet, a modern design by @saybur. It was really interesting because it was made to work with an unpatched Nuvotech driver. But there was a few things I did want to change/improve to the design, including the fact that it would be really cool to be able to upgrade the firmware
  2. A couple of months back I bought a 1MB SRAM card for my Macintosh Portable (non-backlight) from a vendor in France via eBay. Unfortunately the vendor lied that it was in full working order as it didn't work. (Thankfully I got my money refunded and he didn't want it back.) Well, something terrible had happened to the card all the chips connected directly to the address and databuses were fried, including the 74AC24x chips on the board were fried. I'm guessing that the VLSI custom chip is too. After replacing the 74AC24x chips the card partly works. It mostly doesn't pass
  3. Hi guys, So there are some games that I want to run from MacIntosh Garden which need Mac OS 9. (Marathon in particular, anything in color) I've been looking around to see what my options are. There are a few but being so new to Mac I can't figure out which is the best one. So I need your help guys. Any feedback would be appreciated. Here are the options that I can see: 1 - Run SheepShaver on my iBook G4 to get Mac OS 9 going. I'm not sure how well the games will run considering the iBook specs 2 - Run Mac OS natively(?) on this iBook G4 ( not sure if this is even po
  4. I don't know if I'm using the wrong search words or just don't know what I'm looking for, but I'm curious about what happens when the Apple I, II, III and Lisa have a hardware problem that would cause a Sad Mac in later computers. I'm a very visual person so pics would be great, but they seem to be hard to find so a description of some sort would work too. Thanks everyone!
