    A Bull Moose Mac? 8^?

The Mac II, IIx and IIfx all need two good 3V PRAM batteries in order to start up. The power supplies that were used in those models did not supply any standby voltage to the logic board when powered off. The power - on circuit on the logic board relied on the 6V from the PRAM batteries (in series) to signal the PSU to turn on.

Thanks! I am very pleased that you like my videos. If you can think of how I can improve them, or if you would like me to do a video on a specific model of Mac, please let me know! Jason.
