Would someone please bring me up to date on modern Apple ][ storage?

I have been busy with my LISA and Marchintosh for a couple of years.

Last time I looked into Apple ][ +/e/c floppy drive replacement storage, the FloppyEMU reigned supreme.

Is there anything new around, ideally somewhat less expensive?
