System 7.5 US Release?

Paralel

It's weird, I was looking through the Mac OS Anthology '99 DVD and there doesn't seem to be a US version of System 7.5 included on the disk. There is literally every other version, except for a US version.

Was there a US release of 7.5? Or was it just the generic International version?

There would've been the English-North_American release, as per usual. It's possible that it was omitted from the DVD, but I seem to remember the copy of 7.5 I purchased in 1995 being an actual US/Canadian version. I could be wrong, however. Wouldn't be the first time.

It doesn't really specify US/Canada or both. I assume this is Canadian from a Canadian computer.

That would be the US and Canadian CD version... There was also the 11 floppy package, which was what I wound up using - installed it on my first IIsi.

Yeah, I have that same 7.5 CD version too from the USA. Here's what the packaging looked like:

Also as you can see, it came with a Disk Tools floppy (which has the Apple CD-ROM extension)

Anyone have a copy of the anthology? I wonder if somehow mine is just screwed up/damaged or they really didn't include it.

I'll check mine tonight- I have the 1999 and 2000 versions- still looking for 2001 addon

I just downloaded "System 7.5" from Apple's archives, and I got the American version. I don't think there's a specific "US" version.

I eventually did find the North American version. It's part of the Legacy Recovery CD Apple put out a long time ago.

Why it was omitted from the DVD, or somehow my DVD is stupid, we may never know.
