SCSI 5.25 inch floppy drive

I got that a few months ago but never tested it out. Over the weekend I'll test it out, but anyone have any info on it?

Wow, now THAT'S funky. Looks like there's a space underneath the floppy for another drive or something?

Yeah, when I test it out I'll open it up and see what sort of connections there are.

That was to use PC floppies on early macs, like the Plus. Worth a chunk of change iirc....

I have seen a magzine advertisement for it, I think the unit had 2 x 5.25" drives installed. There should be some software you need to run to get the drives to work I would think.

Ain't that a kick. I wonder if you can get bare mechanisms anymore. I have plenty of external SCSI boxes to try one out in.
