Replacement video port for IIe?

I just got my hands on a IIe with a problem:  the video output is fuzzy and almost impossible to read.  However, if I use alligator clips to connect to the metal on the back of the video out jack, I get a perfect signal, meaning that the connection inside the jack must be poor.  Where can I get a replacement jack?

It might be worth cleaning the jack with an electronic contact cleaner like DeoxIT before you go desoldering it. With these systems coming up on (and passing) 30 years old issues with oxidation and corrosion are to be expected. You often can't even see the problem; the metal can look reasonably clean and shiny but still have a thin layer of guck on it that acts as a very effective resistor.

I don't know exactly what the original jack is, but the output is just an RCA jack for composite video afaik so you could probably buy one from Mouser or Digikey. Sparkfun even sells one: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/8631You should check the pinout though.

It might be worth trying to reflow the solder on the original (or remove it and resolder it) in case it's just gotten loose over time, although it's possible the part is just worn out.

What are you using for a monitor? I find that my composite monitor has a loose input jack as opposed to the Apple IIe's which is fairly snug.
