Reconquest: Power Macintosh G3 B&W

Well, I decided after a year, its time to get a true G3 machine going again. I wanted a great OS 9 machine, and I think I made one.

I put in 512mb of Micron RAM, and a 20gb FireBall HD, and my Power Macintosh G4 QS OS 9 CDs worked! Wow OS 9 is 200x more snappy than OS X on any hardware.

Anyone know of any good 3d Games for the OS 9 Platform? I want to use this rage 128.

I think the Quake series work pretty well on that video card. Too bad they didn't make Half-Life for the Mac.

Wow, I am just amazed at how responsive this mac is under OS 9. Why did I force OS X down its CD Drive?

Its more snappy than 7 on my Q800.

Currently I have installed Mozilla,Office 98,Clarisworks 5,Claris Home Page 3,Adobe Photoshop 5.5 and Adobe Illustrator 8, QuarkXPress, and Extreme3D.

And OS 9 is being stable!!! The way I remembered it was a buggy slow POS. It just fixed its image in my mind. :beige:
