RAM contact pads pitted , can I repair?

I am having a sad Macs error relating to ram and some of the contact pads on the ram in my SE/30 are pitted or showing tiny signs of arcing, they are not gold but solder coloured so I wonder if I can re-tin them?

If you want to get fancy, you can electroplate the contacts.    Not much point if the RAM has solder contacts, but if they are copper or gold, it probably still isn't worth it, but I just wanted to mention the possibility.  :-)

Mmm! very interesting, but after trying different configurations of RAM in the eight slots of my SE/30 I came to the conclusion that some of it has gone bad, as it boots just fine without some sticks, so I've bought some more and I'm waiting for them to arrive as I just don't want to lose this Mac.
