Poerbook - PiSCSI Problem with SCSI cabel and adapter

Hello,

I tried to connect my Powerbook 170 to the PiSCSI with a HDI30-Centronics-Cabel and a Centronics-DB25-adapter.
But this does not work, after power on it shows a sad mac with 0000000000f / 0000000003

But the connection with the PiSCSI works well, when i connect it with a AppleCD-Rom as scsci-chain:
Powerbook - HDI30/Centronics-cable - CD-ROM - Centronics/DB25-cable - PiSCSI

So the Centronics/DB25-Adapter might be the problem.

Any ideas or experiences with that ?
