OS8 Installer fault ...

I have a Performa 475 with a full 68040 CPU at 33 MHz and 128 MB of memory. I want to install OS8, but the installer quits with an error message saying it's not possible on this machine. I've tried overclocking the computer to 25 MHz using software and changing the P475/Q605 jumper, but nothing works. What can I do?

I copied the complete os8.1 system from a qudra700 to the Performa 475 and after booting the message appears that the memory (128MB) is not sufficient for the Finder and you have to reboot ...

Install OS8 over a Quadra700 onto the Performa 475 HD (BlueSCSI) and it works but a Update to 8.1 works not when I boot it on the Performa 475. Mactracker say Performa 475 the max OS is 8.1 ...!
