Hello Soldiers, It's time to march to the beat of the only drum I have.
Why?
Because I am having issues with MIDIGRAPHY.
I cannot find any other instruments than what is preset on MIDIGRAPHY.
I have tried running this program on an LC II with system 7.5.5, Quicktime and Quicktime Musical Instruments Extension for midi in/out. Superfluous extensions (eg. printers, zip drive...) have been disabled.
I have tried running this program on my G3 Bronze running 10.3.9 in the 9.2 Classic Window (I assume there is a reasonable QT and QTMIE for MIDI I/O).
For the LC II :
When I choose the channel setup from the "window" window There is only 1 instrument (piano) on channel 1 though 9 and 11 through 16. Channel 10 is pre loaded with a drum kit.
Though I change the settings of those instruments, the same result manifests.... piano on channel 1 though 9 and 11 through 16. Channel 10 Drums.
For the Laptop its mostly the same, except instead of the piano its some reverb effected digital instrument.
Whats's up?
What am I failing to understand?
Any constructive advice from any Wiley Coyote's knowledgeable in the use (eg. Ludite) of this software would be SINCERELY appreciated.
This is the 8-bit part of a rejuvenation project I am conducting in concert with my old Analogue Gear, so I would like to see the errors of my ways.
